About Us
Our Purpose
Truth and Restoration Counseling was founded in August 2018 out of a deep desire to speak Christian truth in love—guiding individuals toward restoration, healing, and hope.
We believe that transformation happens when truth is shared with grace, and that every person is worthy of healing through both clinical care and spiritual insight. This mission has shaped our foundation and continues to guide how we serve every client.
No matter where someone is in their journey, we strive to create a space where faith, compassion, and professional excellence meet to bring lasting change.

Brandon Pedersen LIMHP
Meet Brandon – Owner of Truth and Restoration Counseling
I’m Brandon, an independently licensed counselor and the founder of Truth and Restoration Counseling. One of my deepest passions is seeing people break through the barriers that hold them back and step into the fullness of who they were created to be. Life is hard — and it’s often more than just the surface symptoms we wrestle with. I believe that real transformation comes when we identify the root issues and approach them with kindness, curiosity, and clarity.
My approach is deeply personal and nonjudgmental. I meet people exactly where they are, with compassion and understanding. Whether you're facing pain, confusion, transition, or spiritual struggle, I’m here to help you process, heal, and grow.
At Truth and Restoration Counseling, our goal is to walk with you as you discover what healing looks like in your life. And most importantly, we seek to discern what Jesus is doing in your heart and life — and how we can align with that, receiving from Him every step of the way.

Cesia Pedersen Billing Manager
My name is Cesia, and I’m honored to be part of a mission that blends professional support with faith-based care. At Truth and Restoration Counseling, I manage insurance claims, handle credentialing for our therapists, and help keep our offices organized and welcoming for both clients and staff.
I was born and raised in Mexico, and in 2002, my family and I moved to the United States to serve the Lord and our church, First Church of the Nazarene Bendicion in Council Bluffs. Growing up in a Christian home, I learned to love the Lord with all my heart, soul, and mind. Over the years, I’ve witnessed His love, mercy, and miracles—not only in my own life, but also in the lives of those we have the privilege to serve.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bellevue University and bring extensive experience in the administrative field. I’m passionate about using my skills to serve God and support others. Whether I’m assisting with insurance, streamlining processes, or simply keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, my goal is always to create a space where healing can begin.
Navigating insurance and administrative systems can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to make that process as simple and stress-free as possible—for our team and for every client who walks through our doors.

Paige Walton
Hi, I’m Paige. A provisionally licensed mental health practitioner with a huge desire to help teens and young adults step into the person God has called them to be. Life can throw us some curveballs and set us off course for various reasons, but I believe there is always a way back to the path you are meant to be on. If you are feeling weighed down by your circumstances, at a loss for where to go and how to move forward, or struggling to find the light within yourself, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in this journey. I also have a passion to work with those who are in a season of grieving. After losing a loved one, we often experience a range of emotions. Sadness, despair, anger, relief, longing, etc. They all have their place. Working through these emotions, finding moments of joy, and using the love we will always hold for our loved ones, we will find a way forward. I work through a psychodynamic and person-centered framework, focusing on what makes each person unique and valuable, with an emphasis on your earliest attachments and recollections. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and will place an emphasis on physical health and wellness in our work together. My focus in session is on understanding and reharmonizing core beliefs while prioritizing self-compassion, accountability, and empowerment.
In my personal life, I have a huge love for nature and being active. I enjoy weightlifting, playing basketball, hiking, biking, and walking/running with my dog. I also enjoy reading, drawing, and baking. I am blessed by my church community through volunteering in kids ministry and engaging in a small group weekly.
My role as a therapist is to support you as you navigate life’s challenges. Wherever you may be in life, I will meet you there. This is your journey and I am honored to be a part of it.

Heidi Woodward
Hello, I’m Heidi Woodward, LIMHP, MSW. I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2021, where I focused on co-occurring residential settings. Since then, my primary work has been helping individuals navigate trauma, substance use, and life’s challenges — with understanding, hope, and practical tools. I currently serve as a Clinical Team Lead in a long-term co-occurring residential treatment program, while also building my outpatient practice so I can fully dedicate myself to individualized client care.
I’m trained in DBT, EMDR, CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and specialized substance use approaches. My passion lies in creating a safe, supportive space where we can explore what feels most important to you. I believe in a person-centered approach, meeting you where you are and walking alongside you in your healing journey. I am also excited to add Christian counseling into my professional work, as I’ve found this can offer another meaningful layer to the therapeutic process. Together, we’ll create a path toward healing that honors your story and your goals.
Outside of the therapy room, I love being outdoors in the sun and water as much as possible. If you’re open to it, I even offer “walk-and-talk” sessions (weather permitting) — because sometimes healing comes more naturally while moving in nature.

Lisa Witkop, LMHP, LPC
At some point in life, we all experience hurt, disappointment, or heartbreak that can deeply affect our heart, soul, and mind. These experiences often lead to unhealthy thought patterns and beliefs that shape how we see ourselves and the world around us.
My passion is to help others identify, challenge, and replace those patterns and beliefs with truth and hope. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques integrated with faith-based principles and God’s promise of healing and wholeness, I work with clients to rebuild a healthy, life-giving foundation—one that brings restoration to the body, mind, and spirit.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), as well as a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. I am trained in Restoring the Foundations Ministry(integrated faith-based healing) and as a Gallup StrengthsFinder Coach. I also serve as the director of a church-level Care Ministry Team and have extensive experience supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and grief/loss.
I believe that healing is possible for every heart willing to take the journey. If you are seeking a safe, faith-based space to explore your story and experience God’s restoration, I would be honored to walk with you toward wholeness, peace, and renewed hope.
